- The Central Condenser Water Plant is likely one of the largest operating costs to the owner or association. In every case over our decades of experience in retrofittiing Condenser Water (CW) control systems, the energy savings have more than paid for the initial costs in less than three years, usually in less than two years. That’s not even considering possible rebates.
- There are almost always major savings opportunities in retrofitting the CW system controls. Payback for CW system controls retrofits by Bartley Energy historicly run from 1 to 3 years – that’s roughly a 100% to 33% return on investment – on energy savings alone. For example, see the case history of a major Honolulu condominium.
- Through Bartley Energy’s SHAVE financing concept, Bartley Energy can finance the entire project out of the energy savings alone on a percentage of the savings basis. That means no down payment or upfront costs for the customer. If the energy savings don’t occur, the customer does not pay! (Don’t worry, the energy savings WILL come true).
- Financing options: Pay as you go or Shared Savings (SHAVE)
- Outright Purchase – No down payment. No progress payments on smaller projects but progress payments may be required on larger projects.
- SHAVE (Shared Savings) – No down payment. Pay a percentage only as savings are accrued and proven. If not already installed, an electric meter (or other means of) measuring only the CW System equipment is required before the project begins. If you already have such a submeter, start reading and recording it now on a weekly basis.
